I saw so many people just *hate* that song live when I saw them open for La Dispute/Pianos it was amazing

 

so, on his facebook page he says

there are studio pictures he posted in april so idk if those are just old studio pictures or he went back in after. hmm

 

that's so weird, the live version made me crave a recorded version of that song for a year and i was totally let down by the lack of energy from the recorded one. they changed how they performed it live after it came out too

Yeah it was just the worst crowd for them, la dispute fans at a sold out show were not there to enjoy mansions, the song itself was transcendent

 

that tour didn't come closer than philly to me, i was so upset. gates was on that too, right?

i haven't seen them since they played with they're/their/there in 2013 lol damn
