Mansions - Big Bad (June 26th, 2020) Album • Page 6

  1. I probably have half of their releases and haven't had any issues. A friend got two warped copies of Doom Loop, but they made it right both times.

Just realized they're gonna be playing right near me on Friday. Anyone have any idea what the setlist has been? Gonna go either way just curious

Wish they would play more DUTD shows. Specifically near me. Louisville is only an hour and half away...

Agreed. I live in Philly and cannot convince my wife to travel to NYC to see a breakup album played in its entirety lol. I love this album, but I'm also not going to travel to New York alone to see it either.

Ah ok so nothing from the new album? I like DUTD but my intro was through Big Bad so it would be cool to hear some songs from that too.

I'd assume he'll do an encore but the show is to celebrate 11 years of DUTD. I'm with you though, I'd love to hear the new songs. I was lucky enough to see them like 4 times during the DUTD album cycle so I've seen all those songs live

Saw the show last night. I convinced my girlfriend to travel in from Ohio to watch a breakup album played-through.

I haven’t written up the full set list yet, but he played 4 or 5 tracks from Doom Loop and Big Bad, DUTD in its entirety, then a two-song encore. The first they’ve ever played, apparently!

Unforgettable gig. I had the best time.

  11. Hate doing self-promotion but I was lucky enough to chat with Chris for my newsletter. He was super generous and shared some stuff I hadn't heard before, including how Pete Wentz sorta inspired him to finish DUtD?!

    Figure ya'll might be interested.

Chris Browder is ready to get loose (Human Pursuits 18/11/22)

  14. If nothing else, this interview helped me appreciate Big Bad for what it is. AKA their best album.

  15. I'm coming around to that as well, even if Best of the B's is my favorite release overall.

Strongly disagree about Big Bad, as I would rank Dig Up The Dead and Doom Loop above it, but I do hope he releases more music in the future.

Also, still think Power Lines would have been a banger opener.

    Such a great interview.
Chris is so humble and realistic about what his band is.
