I like that their version of a pop song also includes Dino Jr solos :) love this record, lot of stand out moments. the title track might be my favorite hard to say though

How is it sonically compared to their last?

 

I'd describe it as more ambitious. a wider range of guitar based tones and textures than Romantic so that even songs that are structurally simple seem to open up and feel like fresh ideas and the songs that are really reaching for something always nail it despite often being less trodden ground for them (high horse and the nu metal song for example). you can hear traces of Romantic but this is definitely all about the growth imo and the real strength here lies in how tight of a band they are -- everything feels like it's playing to their collective strengths, which is apparently anything they want to do

This rips I’m not sure if I’ve listened to their last one or not but I’m really liking this one

Never heard of them until today and been on repeat all day. Few better feelings then discovering new music you connect to.

 

On my first listen. High horse raised every hair on my body, what a fucking song

 

Science Fiction got it

 

The drums on the whole record are incredible. But the drums on “Who You Are” are my lifeblood.
