Can someone explain that whole thing to me like I’m 5? I thought AI generated meant humans basically didn’t have to do shit, so how can an artist work on something for hours on end if it was AI generated? This is probably a very dumb question so excuse my idiocy please
I'm assuming they mean someone spent a long time ai generating it bit by bit? So spending time trying to get what they wanted?
This is why I don't participate in outrage culture. I save my anger for truly important things and a band potentially using AI for a video isn't exactly one of those right now.
I get why people have an issue with it but it’s so so so so so so so far down my list of things to care about that I really can’t hold it against a band, especially one at this level. Nobody is perfect.
Who cares lol people are so entitled for no reason Like I get that it sucks but there’s no reason to attack or dismiss the artist because of it
i don't immediately leap to watch music videos nowadays but i had to see that video for myself. it's unwatchable, lol. and a silly route to go. but anyway, the songs have been awesome so far.
Nothing Like is so great. This album is all over the place in the best way. They’re really branching out it seems. Really stoked to hear the rest, and really stoked for the tour.
The whole reaction feels insane. Like AI is dumb and the vid probably looks like shit but people on Twitter are certainly being a bit performative about it.
DIY Twitter can go a little overboard sometimes. Pretty sure this AI garbage is going to become the norm anyway. Edit: Just watched the video. I'm actually on Twitter's side on this one. This sucks.
Just watched the new music video and felt like I was watching The Blair Witch Project. I mean, damn, Grant Writers at my job be using AI and they get paid a ton to write grants..…and it’s not working for us since we aren’t receiving the grants we usually get haha. I just find this AI stuff interesting in the way people are trying to use it and take advantage of it. I’m personally not into it. Probably because I meet with people trying to sell me their services that just ends up them integrating AI (which is free) into their platform that costs money. So annoying haha. In music/video world…I do see this happening more and more.
I put off buying tickets so long for the Indy show, checked this morning and they were still available. Went to buy on my lunch break and they’re sold out. Fucking kill me now. Hopefully they move it to the Annex and release more tix.
