The whole alien/spy segment part was great. I keep thinking about that part. Jonah did a good job with it.
His accent was horrendous but totally worked in the context of the show. Was pretty funny. Also the fight/shooting scenes with Emma were a bit off too, but again, works fine as a dream sequence
My favorite part of that sequence is that he has to solve the Rubik's cube in order to progress onto the next part. It lines up so well with shit I've dreamed about, along with plenty of other things in this show. They did a very good job with dream logic and world building. Damn.
Give me 100 hours of Emma Stone being an unstoppable killing machine with Jonah Hill making faces and cheering in the background and I’ll watch every single second
took me long enough finally get around watching it and boy this was exquisite. loved everything when they were inside the minds. entire cast kicked ass. score was other worldly. episode 9 was probably my favorite of the season. also mind was sort of blown finding out dr. fujita was one of emma stones friends in la la land/kyoko in ex machina. hope to be seeing her in more features.
Binged most of this yesterday. Have one episode left. The hard cut from gangster Owen to him with his wife and seven kids made me feel super depressed
First. Watched the first couple episodes when it was initially released but I’ve been too busy with school to watch more.
Oh damn, the avatar change a while back made me think you've seen it all. Glad I didn't just spoil something then. I love it quite a bit.
Just finished it. Really good. Definitely don’t think I would want another season revolving around the same characters. I do enjoy the world though so maybe perhaps exploring another floor on that building as someone else mentioned. I’m sort of surprised at how neatly it all wrapped up which is both a good and a bad thing as I’m a total sucker for ambiguity.
