Unless I've already seen a band live and wasn't a fan of the performance, I always give bands a shot if they're opening for a band I do care about. Hell, that's why I've been a huge Manchester fan for twelve years. They were just the opener. I've probably seen sixty shows in just the last three years and there was only one time I missed the opening act on purpose, but it was just so we could eat.
This is weird. Also, for no definable reason, it’s always hit my ear wrong when people shorten Manchester Orchestra to Manchester. It may be the fact that it’s an actual name of a place. But I may just be crazy too.
I posted these on Facebook, might aswell post them here too. Original METN tour print. Signed RAGC album release show print /40. I’m still in the process of trying to secure some crazy original and rejected artwork from some past records. I’ll post those when I get them.
idk if this has been posted but the boys did the ost for this movie, The Death Of Dick Long, and its is so fucking good. It is essentially Fargo + Buttrock, from the same director as Swiss Army Man. Check it out if you live in a major city!
Andy posted a video to his Instagram that has since been deleted, I got a screen recording of it. Sounded like a new song. Titled: Gold in the Creek.
One of my buddies from high school played drums for Weatherbox on tour years ago when they were opening for All Get Out. I got to parlay that relationship into meeting and smoking a blunt with Mel in the gear trailer while Nathan kind of lingered around and made jokingly-judgy comments. Fun times.
do you know if it's just a single, or is it the beginning of an album roll out? reply with just an emoji if you can't say lol
