2009 was such a great year. Kevin's Brother's Blood released that year too. If they did a tour together playing both albums I'd be floored.

Hoping this METN tour kicks off with Riot Fest, but I'll probably catch them again regardless if they hit near Minneapolis area. I caught them twice in 2009 touring this album and both shows were incredible.

 

Give the people want they want, a full Simple Math 8th Anniversary tour.

Got two tickets for Cleveland! Stoked!

 

Financially, this just saved me a thousand bucks by not having to go to The Stuffing.

But I’m now bummed that I’m not going to The Stuffing.

 

Got my Cleveland ticket. I haven't had that much anxiety trying to buy a concert ticket since the days B**** N*W would randomly announce a show/ticket sales at the same time and you were stuck in a waiting room with a spinning ball forever.

Took me a good 20 minutes to get through the presale process.

Goddamn I’m glad I looked at my phone when I did. Just got 2nd row center orchestra for The Stuffing.

 

In celebration of MO headlining Cleveland for the first time in 8 and a half years...EVERYONE gets a beer on me!

Just posted this in the tour thread but...Wonder if they're going to play Jimmy, He Whispers as part of this?

I could see the encore or second set being much shorter, considering METN is such a long album.

am i the only one who is fully expecting them to also bring out "I was a lid" as well?

thinking about it, i wonder what other cool goodies they are anticipating, I would think some sort of new vinyl press that maybe includes the B sides and another 14 years.

 

that was our seats last year. truly insane.

got mine for this year, 4th row though. Ill take it!

 

They could play some of the b-sides (as there were many), but if I recall the time surrounding the Virgin Anniversary show, it was made clear they were NOT playing anything additional from that era.


The only thing that truly bums me out about not going to The Stuffing - it’ll be the last time the original band comes together, at least before a 20th Anniversary of Virgin date.

 

Wait, when did they say original members were coming back to play?

Hoping so. Last year was a real bummer and the first not great show I've been to. Was in the 2nd row far far far left right in front of the guitar amp and these front bottom Bros were in front of us talking the entire time.
