Good to know. I'm all for singer/songwriter stuff with just a voice and a guitar but was hoping there would also be a bit more.

 

Yea that album is perfect. Even gets really heavy at times

 

I determine how much I like bands by how often I revisit their discography and how long I stay there when I do. I just did two run throughs of MO and I'm ready for another run, very telling. I think I did a top 10 band rating somewhere last week and had them near the bottom, I think that would change now, maybe a top 5 band for me

 

RAGC>MO for me, always excited when someone discovers it.

 

The ragc live album from last year is an absolute must listen, ill say that a hundred times

 

Love hearing these guys on house of cards.

 

That's actually what got me in to RAGC after years of trying. Bought it on andy's solo tour and couldn't stop listening

I don't anticipate it being as big/as much as the Cope set, but with the storytelling taking centerstage, maybe it will.

On a third consecutive listen of hope and I'm not sure why but I'm connecting with it in a way I havnt since it was released

 

I think a lot of people would agree. By themselves Cope and Hope are good. Juxtaposed as Yin and Yang, they are awesome. Hope allowed me to appreciate both sides of songs a lot more.

 

Best Manchester Orchestra album is actually the Red EP from The Dear Hunter.

 

Yeah, even if its not I'm down for a vinyl, hoodie package or something like that.

 

The only thing I'm missing from my MO collection.

I regret not pulling the trigger.

 

I've never listened to this until today. Always knew The Deer Hunter were good but never actually got into them (same way with Thrice). Where should I start with them?

I used to be into The Dear Hunter but I can't think of a band I feel indifferent towards more now

 

I really only listen to the Color Spectrum and Migrant anymore. I really love both of those releases though. I feel like the Acts story is kinda corny nowadays.

 

So far it seems people have mostly agreed on my Album ratings....about to do Simple Math and I feel like that may be the most controversial one.
