Wish it was hitting today! Got my hopes up that early June meant today haha. Gives me something to look forward too next week though!

bets that we'll hear this before the 8th?

 

Figured the album would have leaked by now if it was sent to the press last week. Or maybe it was only sent to trusted people, like Jason.

 

lol albums don't really leak as much anymore until around the week of their release

 

I haven't seen a watermarked album leak in ... god years now ... it's almost always when it goes to retail these days or the band or someone sends un-watermarked files to the wrong person and then they start going around. But from official press streams? Haven't seen that in a long time.

 

The last two albums I anticipated as highly as this one, FJM and Fleet Foxes, both leaked about 2 months early. FF was leaked the day it was sent to the press. I know that's not precedent, but when a bunch of people get their hands on an anticipated album early, there's a good chance it's leaking.

MO is not nearly as big as either of those two acts though, so maybe the demand isn't there.

 

I thought the Fleet Foxes album was watermarked?

 

Thrice got things locked down for the whole industry after Beggars.

They're beasts.

 

Nope. They sent out raw mp3s.

(So did All Time Low actually, or at least they did to me ... and that didn't leak either.)

 

I don't even think I want this to leak, I want to enjoy the whole roll out as an experience. Believe it or not this is the first Manchester roll out I'm experiencing as a fan of the band (I got into them like right after cope came out, saw them with kevin devine and was hooked by their live show)

 

Did we just become best friends? I feel like we agree on every Manchester thing lol.

Cope for Cope live and The Mansion? (hard to pick one from the Hope tour it was all pretty gorgeous)

But really, Fourteen Years of Excellence is probably my favorite release of theirs.

But everything except number one changes for me all the time. In like a day or two I'll throw on SM and all of a sudden something will click with me and it'll shoot up to second place lol

 

Really upset that I wasn't able to see them for that cycle!

Any prediction on when tour will start? August? September? October?

Really hoping to avoid any August shows as my wife is due Aug. 24 which really means anything mid-Aug to end of Aug is off limits. If MO comes around me during that time and I can't make it I honestly don't know how I'll...Cope.

 

I'm guessing it will start on or around the album release date, which I believe will be in July.

 

That's my guess too. Already in severe panic mode.
