I'm not even a Brand New fan, but TDAG crushes METN. it's not close in any way

 

Its a music site and two titans of our music scene have released transient albums, so naturally comparing and contrasting will come up often

 

nah METN stomps TDAG but its ok i will forgive you tristan

 

I mean, all the MO records are better than any other Brand New record if that helps haha

I love both records but for me personally tdag holds a lot more weight. It has an element that I love that I havnt been able to find in any other rock record.

I would love to like Manchester more than brand new, they give more content and care way more about their fans.. I really hope Manchester lp 5 is good

 

I've never understood the Brand New hype. I really like Daisy but rarely go back to anything else. I know this is an unpopular opinion.

 

I get that people can have opinions and stuff... but there are some really bad ones going around right now

However, Daisy is better than METN.

nah I wasn't trying to have a debate. It caused me to do a double take and made me smile for a second, but I do think it's the first opinion I've heard that thinks that. But I'm glad you like it so much.

 

Are you saying Daisy is better than TDAG?! Oh lord have mercy!!

 

Part of me feels like Simple Math is MO's "Pinkerton"... Like it gets a lot of hate, but one day everyone will be like "wait, that was the best shit that band ever did".

It's already started heading in that direction for a lot of people I feel like

 

By a mile! I'm indifferent about around half of TDAG... I love every song on Daisy.

Yesss. I think the Devil and God is like, half perfect, half whatever. Daisy is solidly great from start to finish though. I realize my opinion is really unpopular.
