Andy has said in interviews in the past that he's written 30-something records just for his wife, so there's definitely a lot of material floating around out there. Plus there was that controversy a handful of years ago when someone hosted hundreds of those unreleased songs online and earned themselves a cease and desist from the band. It was some AP frequenter...maybe even ManchesterOrch8 himself (sorry to baselessly throw that accusation your way, but for some reason I remember it as someone with a similar username).

Andy was real pissed.

 

I had all of them but contacted the band and asked if they were okay with me sharing. They said they weren't and that was the end of my attempt to share. I didn't know someone got a c&d from this though.

Yeah and way too far for us @redwing91007. These always make me so sad :(

 

I'm just used to it at this point. But at the same time we DO get lots of killer tours coming through.

 

hopefully that means MO is done with the new record

So I'm a big MO fan but have foolishly not explored Andy's musical output outside of the band. Would you guys say his set will probably contain mostly non-MO songs on this upcoming tour? I know I need to listen to his stuff either way, but I was wanting to familiarize myself with it before the show.

 

It's a safe bet that it will have a lot of RAGC and and some Bad Books.

 

What songs would you recommend I listen to as an introduction to those projects?

 

Cancel your Saturday night plans and listen to the RAGC trilogy in it's entirety.

 

If not tonight, then I'll do it tomorrow and report back haha.

I saw this tour back when they did it the first time and it was almost exclusively RAGC if I remember correctly.

 

Listen to the ragc live album. It's better than the trilogy and will have any songs he's going to play live on it

 

4 hour drive today. Definitely gonna listen to the trilogy. It's been a while.
