I switch between METN, Virgin and Simple Math as to which is my favorite. I think Simole Math is the best lyrically. Apprehension is devestating.

 

Simple math is so good but I feel like you have to be in the mood for it haha. Cope is brutal and hits you over the head with pounding guitars. My only complaint with cope is that the loud parts tend to just be power chords at times, a few more lead guitar parts would have put that album on a different level I believe

 

Is there anywhere that we can get the Right Away Great Captain live album? Is it available anywhere or will it be permanently sold out?

 

Just watched Swiss Army Man.....what the actual fuck. I actually really liked the first half but it got too creepy in the 2nd half for me.

 

METN might be the best album to come from this scene as far as 2009-2016 is concerned

so i haven't really been following these guys much this past year. do we have any reason to believe we'll get a new album next year?

 

They've been in a studio in Asheville NC working on the new album

 

They are recording now (may even be finished now - because that was in August or September) and Andy has already said they'll release something in 2017. I'm betting in the Spring.

 

i was going through a period where i was concerned that there'd be nothing good to listen to next year because all my favorite bands released albums this year. but now it's starting to seem like that won't be the case at all. so excited.

 

Yea if Manchester and brand new put out records next year than that's really all I'll need ha, also menzingers probably as well

 

Big ones for me are MO, Paramore and hopefully Copeland

hope they expand on the sound they went for on cope and get the production side more tight.
