The song sounds familiar, did they play it on the tour in any capacity? setlist.fm doesn't list it on the few dates there's a setlist.
According to Facebook I saw this band for the first time. 13 years ago. They were much better than the headliner that night. It’s still the best I’ve felt after seeing them.
Saw Andy make a post about working hard on the new album...any insight as to a release from these guys?
incubus tour starts next wednesday. i don't think they've ever debuted anything in a live setting aside from that "secret" show last year show but i'm gonna hope.
As much as I’d like to see a live video of a new song, I don’t see a world where they would debut a new song as an opener. My guess is that the set will be all “hits” to try and win over Incubus fans that are surprised that MO isn’t an actual orchestra
I think Million Masks may be the only album where they did not debut anything live. Shake It Out and In My Teeth, April Fool, Cope and The Ocean. All were played a bunch before they were released. Off the top of my head I believe The Only One and Tony the Tiger were the only two METN songs that were not debuted live. Even a few Black Mile songs were debuted live but that was shortly before the album release
Wow, now that you say this I do distinctly remember having a recording of a show in like 2008? where they played pride and in my teeth and I think $100 that I absolutely wore out lol. Edit: just looked for it and seems like the files never fully transferred to my phone but it’s labeled Philly 12.7.08 and has a series of songs called “new song 1,2,3” etc. Gotta see if they’re still on my old external haha
i was at that show! $100 into Pride blew my mind. let me know if you can't find the recording, i have it somewhere there was also a festival recording i listened to a ton, maybe Coachella 2008. at the end of In My Teeth, he sang "Satan Said Dance" by Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and i was obsessed with that
It is Atlanta, but I didn’t realize microwave was second billing big. Been wracking my brain about who the mystery band will be, especially being 3rd on the poster.
Microwave headlined a venue here in Birmingham that ManOrch also headlined. Somewhat baffling to me, but apparently they pull a good crowd.
Presale already gone lol. I held off bc mezzanine was only available during the general sale last year. Hope that’s the same this year..
I could see Michigander being the unnamed artist. They are playing Shaky Knees, and are in the MO universe
