I bought the new pressing, but not for me. I got it for my buddy who loves those albums and had an exceptionally tough year last year. I’m probably going to kick myself for not getting myself one too.

 

I love Andy in that kind of song. The way he sings “unfettered fire in your frame”. Brilliant.

 

I got my METN record in the mail yesterday and it is glorious.

Matt Maeson is so good. It’s hard to imagine how this wouldn’t rule.

 

He’s been one of my favorite artists for the past three years. He’s also spoken so highly of Andy and MO too.

 

who is he?

 

Incredible singer songwriter. Heavily influenced by Andy. Check out ‘Bank on the Funeral.’ It’s one of my favorite albums of the last decade - it’s truly that good.

 

he has released two EPs (Who Killed Matt Maeson and The Hearse) and one LP (Bank on the Funeral). All phenomenal.

This song with MO will be with his side project UserX (Matt Maeson and Rozwell)

I’ve heard a lot about him, but never listened. I see ads for him all over spotify. I’ll give that record a try

 

Bank On The Funeral is an incredible album. I’m going to listen to it tonight on my walk.

Not for nothing, but this latest b-side release on the Patreon is a hell of a stand out. Early MO meets early Bright Eyes.

I’m willing to generally say almost everyone at this point.

Van Weezer comes to mind now though.

 

Pretty sure MO has pretty much cemented the type of venues they'd play on a tour - regardless of whether or not a new album is out.

Also, if anyone thinks touring is happening anytime soon, then that's on you.
