Cope is definitely my least favorite MO album by a bit but man do "Top Notch," "Choose You," and "Every Stone" really rock

 

Every Stone has become an MO all-timer for me.

Trees is a banger too.

 

The recordings of the shows they put out for Patreon subscribers are so good. I’m in love with this version of Colly Strings.

 

I’m not super interested in ranking albums, but I’ll just say Cope is perfect. Hope also. For 98% of the planet, that’s the best album a band could make. And it’s incredible work.

 

Woah woah woah. Why the unprovoked attacks on one of my babies. I love them all.

 

ehhh it has a number of songs that are just...there. some of them really rock and I’m totally glad they exist but I think some of these songs just weren’t quite up to their standard and that’s fine

I want to say that Simple Math has been my go to lately and I really love it. Black Mile is very good but I just tend not to gravitate toward it—I think when it hits it really hits, but I’m rarely in the mood for it
