Fuck the fact that he felt the need to say that after weirdos gave pushback on the Patreon. Sometimes the internet is the worst.
Reddit, and I guess Instagram wasn’t looking too hot either. I didn’t actually read those comments though.
the reddit comments were hilarious. "how dare this band give me consistent high-quality music I've been waiting for 10+ years, and expect me to not do a one-off payment of $20?"
The same people who will never buy their favourite band’s music then have the nerve to complain about them breaking up lmao
I just checked Andy’s Instagram and MO’s Instagram and only saw a total of 3 comments questioning it, and even those people were respectful about it. I don’t do Reddit so I have no clue what’s on there. I also didn’t take Andy’s (your) tweet as defensive when he acknowledges they’ve been working on the new album.
There were a few highly upvoted comments on Reddit I had to respond to. People upset there wasn’t a way they could outright buy it as well as people upset they were monetizing old releases. if you’re unable to afford $5 a month there may be more important things in the world than some b sides from 2011 from an indie rock band. And that’s ok.
