So happy I'm in Michigan for work to be able to go tonight. Only time I've seen MO is opening for Brand New. I've wanted to see them headline for years. I remember discovering them on MySpace back in the day. Excited for all three bands.
Yeah Manchester was incredible last night. TJ and Foxing were top notch as well. Manchester fans are pretty awful though lol
Manchester fans have a crossover with Brand New fans, and in my experience Brand New fans in Michigan are so awful
Yep. I am extremely excited for the BN show in a couple weeks, but I'm already dreading hearing a bunch of idiots yelling for 70X7 all night long. At least it's a seated show?
my friend went to the show in LA and said there are posters limited for each show but they are pricey, around $35-40 i'll be there tonight too, cant wait!
thanks for the heads up! might have to pick one up, show posters have become the new (expensive) t-shirt for me. addicted to collecting these now. your avatar is one of my favorite photos of Jesse btw, go Giants.
Show hit curfew last night so Andy played 100 Dollars as the last song instead of The Silence. They sounded great, but there were wayyyyy too many drunk assholes talking too loudly over every song on Black Mile
yeah, it was pretty crazy how little people actually cared for those songs. they had some of their best moments during them too. i was standing in the back the whole show and there was a lot of space, but a group of idiots were basically just grinding on me, my brother, and some others all night. someone else pushed them away because they were so bad. manchester is always great live, but i noticed something last night and im not sure if its just manchester as a band or they were purposefully doing this a lot. they constantly were making massive dynamic shifts from basically trying to play as loud as possible to no sound at all. they did it multiple times in every song
Wow - that's so disappointing. I was supposed to go last night but wasn't able to. I would've been insanely bummed to have missed The Silence. Easily my favorite on the new album
Show was great last night, loved hearing “100 dollars” at the end. Also loved when andy called out that guy for being “a fucking douchebag” for yelling inbetween every song. I was up in the top balcony and we could hear that asshole loud and clear.
Holy fuck Foxing. Edit: show was great, all 3 bands sounded great, and man do I regret waiting this long to see MO for the first time
Caught them in Chicago. It was my tenth Manchester show over 10.5 years. Not a single one I haven't loved.
I went to the Philadelphia show on sunday. Manchester Orchestra put on a pretty good show but I really enjoyed Tiger's Jaw. I never really listened to MO but my brother had an extra ticket and I love I can feel a hot one. The light show for MO was cool but I just cannot get into any of their other material for some reason.
Schedule for the stuffing got released. Bummed I have to miss half of Foxing to catch All Get Out, but I guess im also lucky to get both.
