I’m guessing the whole tour will be postponed to coincide with the new release date.

    Don’t blame him one bit.

I actually just got an email from Bandsintown reminding me of the show. Weird.

Saw them play the song Cope live last year and it sounded HUGE. Not sure if this is a hot take or not but I do prefer a lot of the Hope versions of these songs, though. Probably because they sound sad and I like to be sad lol

I agree with Hope versions being - for the most part - better but to me, there is no sadder MO song than After the Scripture on the deluxe version of COPE.

Live at the Earl is the only version of Cope I've listened to since it dropped.

Every Stone is the best song off Cope.

Cope is one of the few records where the production really takes me out of it, although not the worst offender.

The live record is the only version of it that I listen to now.

    forbidden chalice.

Cope is the album that got me into the band. It’s probably my least favorite now if you don’t count Hope but there’s still a ton to love about it. The title track is one of my favorite songs from the band, esp when they play it live and go absolutely crazy during the “There is a cost my friend” part before going super quiet.
