Every Manchester record rises to a level of great, but Black Mile is the best.

 

I like COPE but I am stunned they are doing a tour for it (I will happily go) seeing as it seems to be their most polarizing album

 

They really really enjoyed the Cope show at the earl last year and probably want more of that. Andy was giddy and smiling the entire time.

Black mile is pretty easily this bands best album I don’t think it’s even close to be honest. I love every album besides simple math, that one doesn’t do it for me on any level whatsoever but cope and metn are phenomenal too

I saw MO on the original COPE tour with Balance & Composure and KD + the God damn band opening.... One of the best shows Ive ever been to and that got me hardcore in to MO when I was a casual fan and loved KD and Bad Books at the time.

 

I saw every tour in the cope era that I could this one was great so was obrother and front bottoms

 

I was a yuge B&C fan at the time and even I was pissed at their set... like.. they played all their super slow songs and it seemed like the band was just not in a great spot..Idk.. But man Kevin Devines set was one of my favorite things of all time.. One of the most loud and clear vocals ive ever heard.

 

As someone who has seen a combination of MO, Bad Books, RAGC and Andy solo more than 20 times - as well as every album tour (except oddly enough ABMTTS) I can honestly say MO’s live shows from 2009ish to 2011ish were easily my favorite shows from them.

They're still probably my favorite live band and I’ve seen them live twice in the past year and know they still have it live but these later tours don’t touch the METN/SM tours.

 

Thought their show last summer was the best I’ve seen them of the close to 8?? times I’ve seen them

I normally roll my eyes at album rankings but this is reallyy interesting to see where people place MMOG and how polarizing SM and Cope are. For me it’s:
