  1. Man what I wouldn’t give to go back to the time around that tour.

Looks like set times (based on past shows) should be

    6:30 - Middle Kids
    7:30 - Jimmy Eat World
    9:15 - Manchester Orchestra

Don’t really care much for MO’s setlist, but they’re good enough live for me to stick around for their set.

Wishing it were about 10-15 degrees cooler for this show. Craving those fall vibes.

I am in a Fugazi shirt. If you see me, I will not acknowledge my secret Chorus life.

We played Band T Shirt Bingo. Didn’t see Fugazi. Lots of Hot Mulligan.

Worried about crowd vibes. Someone was no stop talking through 22 earlier. Drove me nuts.

I got up towards the front and near the middle to avoid as much of that as I could. Thankfully, I didn’t have to worry about it during Jimmy Eat World’s set

after hearing simple math and cope live i dont think i can listen to music again. nothing else can compare to what i felt in those minutes

I bought the last copy of simple math at the Boston date. They must set aside a certain amount for each show

They sounded great tonight. Pride was an unreal opener. Andy was more personable than on past tours. Luckily they were very loud bc people would not be quiet (as predicted). During quiet parts all I could hear were the people talking around me. I made it pretty far up too. Saw a few people puking during MO and a few leaving after a few songs. Still stand by that it was an odd pairing but I enjoyed it.

MO were good. I mean, performance-wise, they were great. As mentioned before, I think the setlist could have been better. It was definitely on the mellower/more reserved side of their sound, which I guess shouldn’t be a surprise to me

For this era of the band this was probably the most “rock” type set you’ll get tbh.

Yea doing both The Way and The Dinosaur was a flex at this type of show. Feel like I’ve Got Friends, Pensacola, and/or Alien/Sunshine/Grocery would have been a better fit. That being said I’m all for the long/epic songs if they are gonna start do longer headlining sets. Obviously they couldn’t here.

I’m not surprised they played The Way. They certainly brought more life to it live. Honestly, I feel like I could have done without The Maze and Dinosaur. I think doing both The Maze and the truncated version of I Can Feel a Hot One was a bit much, and Dinosaur didn’t really do it for me sandwiched between Shake It Out and The Silence. I would have preferred I’ve Got Friends, Pensacola, or another song from Cope like Choose You or Every Stone.

Dinosaur was a major highlight for me

I really loved Dinosaur, what a song, but it def felt weird in-between Shake It Out and The Silence. I thought it was going to be the closer, as Andy said good night before they played it, and it ended as if it was a closer with the constant "over and over" yelling and loud finish, but then The Silence came after and I was like "oh okay". Not complaining about The Silence, it's a great song, but it really felt like I watched 3 closers back to back.

Would have rather had Angel of Death, but this discussion is gonna have me revisit TMMOG sometime today or this week in addition to the rest of their discography
