I’ll see you all at Red Rocks, it sounds like! Went ahead and got shuttle tickets so I don’t have to rent a car (and can drink at altitude).

 

All I know is that you do NOT want to Uber from the venue

 

Red Rocks was a bucket list venue for me and while I've seen a show there it wasn't for an artist I was a huge fan of (took my mom to see Sam Smith a few years ago) so the combo of MO and Jimmy Eat World is too good to pass up. I did learn a very harsh lesson that I cannot handle increased elevation at all and got one of the worst headaches of my life there so I'm definitely getting to town a few days early to hopefully acclimate before the show.

 

Man seems like a lot of people are making the trip out there.

 

I’ve been wanting to see the Avett bros there for years or any band I enjoy and getting a chance to make that bucket list venue a show with the boys, couldn’t pass it up. Also have never had the opportunity to fully explore Denver

 

Might see if we can make it work last minute if flights are affordable

 

Woah. Did not expect flights to Denver to be so pricey. Cheaper ones seem to be Frontier but I’ve made it a rule to never fly Frontier or Spirit. Says they’re Denver based though… half the price for a risky flight.

 

I fly Frontier all the time and haven’t had issues at all. Probably flown them 6 times in the past 5 years

 

Frontier is fine. Its extremely "you get what you pay for" in terms of comfort and amenities, but in a pinch its usually extremely reliable.

 

Oh yea there’s no amenities haha. It’s like flying in a base mode Saturn sedan from the 90s

My girlfriend has said that the newer stuff (last three projects) sounds like Mumford and Sons. She also hears the first mumford album when her dad plays it on vinyl.

Not ready to show her the older stuff since she would be off-put by Andy's voice.

 

Per the newest Manchester podcast, they are gonna record the video and audio for the upcoming Cope anniversary show, and hope to get the audio mastered to include as part of a 10 year package for Cope next year.

 

That’s awesome! I really hope that at some point in time they put out a legit live album. Those pro shot Stuffing videos sounds so good!

 

This comment aged poorly. As I drove to the airport at 3am this morning to fly to Florida to visit my parents, Frontier cancelled my flight. Gave me a $50 voucher on my $80 ticket, so at least there is that. Booked a flight for tonight. We will see how that pans out.

 

Starting a petition to replace Let It Storm with Quietly on MMOG.

 

Let It Storm is unfairly criticized. Great song.

I think at this point I’m ready to declare The Way a Top 10 MO song

 

Quietly is easily the weakest song off TVOV for me.

 

Honestly, it's the best song on there for me. The Way and Rear View are also pretty spectacular though too.
