For real. It wouldn’t surprise me if we see a second (or third) show pop up for each of these.

Bummer that they're not doing a full tour. I'd consider making a trip out to NYC if I wasn't trying to save for a damn house.

calling this a “tour” is so sus lol

it isn’t hard to just say “these are our first shows back we will do a full tour in 2022” everyone else is doing it

What if there were more shows in between those and they were only announcing those three markets first? LA in February just seems like a long way away. They could fly out and do it sooner – unless it were part of a larger routing.

This is kinda what I'm holding out hope for.

Andy said, in Orlando a few weeks ago, that they had plans booked to come back soon.

I wonder if the ATL date is The Stuffing fest

OKAY HERE IS ALL MY KNOWLEDGE ON THE TOPIC.

I’m not shocked by these dates. As I was told ‘22 will be when the WC swing happens. The LA date could very likely be apart of that big tour, which means I can see it being factored into that bigger tour as just another stop. Because they are NOT traveling across the country just to play LA and then work their way back.

So more dates will come, at some point. But expect it to be 2022.

    maybe they play some fests.

November IS The Stuffing, and I believe it’s a Simple Math date.

It was pretty understated "teasing" – the video they posted this morning also only had three cities listed. People are free to read into that however they wish, but it wasn't a huge tease.

Not just a video though. In patreon, they had two posts. On Friday, the post just said "Monday." This morning they posted, "1 PM EST."

Seems a bit excessive for 3 dates.

I do think if they have a full tour planned for next year (or even more dates this year between these two) they should give the fans a heads up. I always find it kinda shitty when bands announce just a few dates, fans end up traveling because they assume those are the only dates, and then after more dates or a full tour is announced with dates closer to them. Kinda deceptive marketing haha. Especially calling this a tour but only having three dates, although I guess people are smart and can reasonably assume a full tour is next year.

    Okay, maybe.

But I don’t know what you wanted them to do? It’s their first dates for this album cycle, and possibly only dates of the year.

This isn’t just a random set of offcycle dates, these are the first shows in almost 2 years. That’s a pretty big deal.

I just wanna know who they are bringing out on tour because last tour had great support

it's the same deal for literally every band on the planet. most bands are not announcing three dates but teasing it ahead of time as a tour with two "check back tomorrow/check back at 1pm!!!!" posts

it's fine. it's not a big deal. but acting like people couldn't have expected more is a bit whack.

in an alternate universe they held back the release of MMOG and we're all in some thread bitching about how there hasn't been enough new music from them.

Yeah, but if they only have three dates, that’s all they can give you.

If venues and dates have yet to be nailed down for further dates next year (or otherwise), they can’t really say anything about those.

These are what they got so it’s what they can give.
