First update says it's in Fox Valley, IL:

 

this is out of pocket. the EPs and the most recent LP are bad, yes, but the first two Noel solo albums are better than everything Liam has done since the band ended, and a handful of proper Oasis albums.

and I really like Liam's last two a lot

 

Okay, MFer, Liam’s solo work in two albums has surpassed any Noel output, including the first few records.

Those records are full of skip worthy tracks, Liam (with help from many others) has created MOSTLY jams top to bottom.

and I too like the early Noel stuff. But he’s just gotten more lost as he’s gotten more disillusioned from the Oasis sounds.

 

But to be fair, I did say a good lot of them, not all.

Everybody’s On the Run was a jam for a long time.

 

I enjoy it! But the record isn’t better than As You Were.

Wall of Glass is an all fucking timer.

Okay, agreed. I think Noel knows that too though, thus why he takes the certain types of shots he does now.

Am I also the only person that will never not think damn near every song is at least a little bit about the other?

 

it’s pretty clear when they’re writing about each other and writing about others. good songs = about each other. i don’t need to hear any more songs about liam’s kids.

 

i'm coming around on this, but the lyrics kinda do nothing for me.

That comment said nothing about him being a bad lyricist. Need to let people have their opinions, man, and not feel the need to defend the band on everything. It's cool!

For the record, I think he's a great writer.
