anyways, speaking of NIN, there's a ton of their influence all over MMOG. cool to hear them lean into the very small moderate industrial vibes a bit. not something I expected to hear ever from this band.

I can’t disagree with this, maybe. But my loyalty lies with NIN.

I’d take Broken over any Oasis record, if I’m being honest. I’ll sacrifice the range/diversity of sound for the hit after hit after hit after hit.

and I love Oasis dearly. All Liam solo and ~some~ HFB included.

 

It’s never too late.

Honestly, the easiest way that I’ve gotten people into NIN is to have them listen to the And All That Could Have Been live record. It has all the songs you probably know from the 90’s, but better, plus the Fragile songs that’ll take you out of this world.

 

NIN gives me hella Radiohead vibes.

So I'm definitely showing my age but I saw Oasis in Chicago and JET opened up for them. The brother's got in a fight and one of the brothers (Noel? Liam?) left and the non-singer ended the show singing the songs. Wild show.

 

That sounds about right. i think 90% of my initial Oasis knowledge was built around them hating each other and fighting on stage.
