Listened to virgin for the first time in forever and I forgot how Andy sounded on this record. It’s still fantastic.

The bigger thing for me is Gojira having a number 1 album. Didn’t know they were so big

 

I was thinking the same thing. Cool though, I dig that album a lot too.

 

Yeah, I’m guessing everyone saying it’s their worst closer must just pause the record with a minute or so to go.

It truly hits me hard.

 

Is that just pure physical album sales?

Because according to Hits Daily Double, it debuted at No. 28 on the Billboard Charts.

Either way, that's big for them.

 

Telepath might be the best song on here.

 

gojira might be the biggest band in metal. it doesn't surprise me at all. album was doodoo though.

 

I’m still at the point where many songs could be the best song on there (except for Keel Timing and Inaudible, which are fine songs in the context of the record but stand out for me as much).

What about Telepath puts it as the best song for you? I’m curious.

 

I love the guitar and I think it has some of his best lyrics.

Book arrived!

My copy looks pretty okay overall. There’s a minor mark on the cover, but no significant seam splits or letters peeling off.

I think these were a really cool idea, but execution by the manufacturer could have been better.
