This feels like the most immediate album they have released (for me anyway) and I really like it! i do also get annoyed when the singles are so different from the actual album tho

Less immediate than METN and Cope?

Okay, the second half is starting to sink in more. The run from "Dinosaur" to "Way Back" is wonderful.

Can’t wait to get my two other copies. Figured what could it hurt to support the band a little more and support a local shop (that is never been to before).

    It spins so good, y’all.

Hmmm thats a nice variant but it doesnt feel different enough from the pink deluxe i ordered to spend the coin picking it up today from my shop.

Never really listened to this band but I figured I'd put this on last night and fell asleep to it, it was very pleasant sounding

    That's my review

Only listened once yesterday, but excited to dive in more today/tomorrow. Was surprised to see the lukewarm reaction to The Internet. I thought it was a clear standout on first listen. Though The Silence is my favorite from BMTTS

    Motel. Money. Murder. Madness.

    Woke up with the

‘Sleeping with the angel of death,
I still find you in my shadow‘

line on a loop in my head. It’s that drum machine.

Yep. It’s pretty, but I wouldn’t have done it if I weren’t so hyped for release day.

Staring at my orders stuck in Illinois was making me sad.

I got mine on CD like someone who was out of college when ILAVLAC came out. Supposed to be arriving before I have to drive in to work - fingers crossed...

Yeah listening to the record again right now AoD is a perfect first coffee down in the morning song. That ending is great

Obstacle is a beast of a song

The way Andy delivers that line too -- so good and a bit hypnotic. lol

Do I miss the types of songs that feel like they may tear the roof off? Sure.

But this album has so much working below the surface that is so expertly crafted and compelling.

I think a lot of this stuff will come across differently live. Much louder. BM live was different than the record. It killed it in all the songs you thought it would, and then some.

This is how I felt when I saw them play I Know How to Speak live. It was just massive live. Made me love the song even more.

Angel of Death and Dinosaur are my early favs.

the latter reminds me of something off the garden state soundtrack that I can’t put my finger on + a little moon shaped pool in the bridge. And I love it.

Angel of Death is going to absolutely MELT live

Also, let me offer up a spicy take: I like Inaudible, but I think it goes on for too long. I think the song would have been perfect if it ended exactly at the 2:24 mark.

    ROAST ME.
