I found this band around the time ILAVLAC came out. I still think of them as a young band and remember hearing how Andy used to live in Richmond Hill before moving back to Georgia and thought that makes him Canadianized so I should check out even more of Manchester Orchestra’s music and it was a good decision.

I was the cool new young buck at the nursing home when Manchester Orchestra's first album came out back in aught-six...

If you were super irresponsible and scandalous, and then he was also super irresponsible and scandalous, you COULD be a grandfather.

I just had The Internet finish and the next song that started was Middle Kids “Bad Neighbours”. That transition sounded so fitting and smooth. I know each album was done so they didn’t influence each other, but I can see why Andy liked Today We’re The Greatest after listening to Million Masks again. Lots of similarities between the records without being planned. Kinda neat.

This makes me feel a thousand years old, and yet it really truly does feel like it was maybe a couple years ago.

AVA vs. +44, Team Tom vs. Sane people.
BN are gods, BN are overrated.
    Is Senses Fail actually good?
The Format are gonna explode, they got so many songs on Laguna Beach.
Daniel Craig is the worst Bond yet.

    These were actual AP threads.

Are you still disappointed by that Gatsby’s American Dream album?? Wow, that was a wild year for music.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

okay yeah this really hit me a few listens deep. the "Obstacle"/"Way Back" duo absolutely wrecked me this time, I can't believe I was overlooking that "when it began I was starving wide-eyed and alone" bridge

    From Reddit:

    Vinyl Album Art

So I got my vinyl today in the mail and was checking everything out that came with it. The embossed-ish cover is pretty cool. I turned it over and noticed there's a ring of phrases surrounding the track list, written backwards:

two teeth ~ no rule ~ lose you again ~ the way ~ laugh all you want ~ reset button ~ capital karma ~ the year and you are old ~ all this time I thought I was right ~ rear view~

It's mildly tricky to read due to the size and font. If you hold it up to the mirror it does have an added spacey effect at least with the way my mirror works. Curious if this was on everyone else's variants or even printed on the CD. Had the vague thought that those were other tracks that didn't make the album, since it seems MO has been having a ton of fun this recording cycle reversing stuff from the studio and then putting it out there.

Also kinda bummed the only thing that seems to glow in the dark on the cover is the text on the back.
