hey this is a good album, who'd have thunk

 

Way Back gets me every time.

A couple ways I can interpret it that are each very poignant for me right now.

 

how is this so epic and muted at the same time

 

So much of this record gives me sufjan adjacent vibes

 

yeah but what does it sound like

 

idk i'm mostly getting Bill Haley & His Comets vibes tbh

 

Man, that Telepath music video brings me to tears

 

And is it better than the thread? Who’s to say

 

“All this time I thought I was right”

Just the perfect line to end the album. Love it

 

I very much adore this album

I got my deluxe vinyl with my tshirt today, felt very lucky given the horror stories people have been sharing.

 

These deluxe version elitists smh

 

one thing this album has going for it is that its the best album cover in their discography. probably need more time with it, but very little of this stuck with me. definitely prefer black mile over it
