These bands are so tonally opposite that this should make no sense and yet it makes complete sense.

I’m waiting to see if the TBA date is either in Columbus or Pittsburgh or… something and then if it’s not I’ll go to Detroit. But i’m Going to assume the TBA date is probably Chicago?

This will be at least the third time the two have toured together. I saw TFB open up for Bad Books in 2012 and then they opened up for MO in 2013. I'm also pretty sure they've played The Stuffing before too.

Yea but I feel like in 2012 they were a little more similar. TFB was moodier and MO hadn’t gone as dark as Black Mile. But I mean yea I’m not questioning it, it does make sense, it's just weird to me that it makes sense. Am I making any sense?

I feel like Front Bottoms is more popular than Manchester Orchestra at this point, to the point that it feels weird as a co-headliner, but I am about this tour.

Also, really hoping that they announce the location of Champagne Jam soon because if its Jersey I'll definitely take that over Philly.

Not that it matters at all, but this got me interested. Manchester has 314k facebook likes, TFB has 177k. But on Instagram, Manchester has 67k followers, while TFB has 160k.

I guess that shows the different demographics between them some?

Last year was great, and I feel like they said they wanted it at the Convention Hall for years to come. Probly just need to wait for Sea.Hear.Now to happen

Any rumors on who is opening this tour?

Tsongas seems like a huge venue for this.

They could have at least made it at Agganis instead. I really don’t want to drive to Lowell haha

I won tickets to Cal Jam, which I guess this tour is hitting, like months ago. They're probably both going to play like half hour sets but it'll still be sweet.

I wish a Portland band would start an awesome indie music extravaganza. Get on it PtM!

The funny thing about MO not headlining Cleveland since 2011 is, my buddy e-mailed their merch store a few months before Black Mile was released about a question he had with an order, and at the bottom of the e-mail he wrote something like 'Cleveland misses you' and Tim responded 'looks like we'll be there soon.'

And then you would’ve complained about the venue! Lol.

Nah. WAY too small to play Blossom. Last time they headlined Cleveland was at Beachland and I LOVE that venue. This tour probably would have swung through Agora. Would have had no qualms about that...except the surrounding area :crylaugh:

Is this a true co-headliner or is one headlining over the other?
