Manchester Orchestra has released The Million Masks of God: The Remixes (Loma Vista Recordings), which features reimagined versions of songs from their latest album.

Manchester Orchestra today released The Million Masks of God: The Remixes (Loma Vista Recordings), which features reimagined versions of songs from their acclaimed new album. The inventive collection gathers four reworked tracks: the softened, danceable“Bed Head (Local Natives Version)” (the original is the band’s latest #2 AAA and Top 20 Alternative radio hit); the pulsing “Keel Timing (Alfa Mist Version);” the kaleidoscopic“Telepath (Dirty Projectors Version);” and “Inaudible (Lucius Version)”—a silvery, rhythmic take on the Masks opener that features vocals from Lucius as well. The collection’s release arrives the morning of Manchester Orchestra’s 11th annual hometown festival The Stuffing, which will see its return tonight at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre and feature performances by the band alongside Andy Shauf, Foxing, Briston Maroney, Slothrust, and Paris Jackson. Fans can also tune in to Sirius XM's Alt Nation on Thanksgiving Day when the channel presents "Friends-Giving" with Manchester Orchestra, where Andy Hull will be the special guest and takes over Alt Nation for the day.

Early next year, the band will resume their North American tour, which includes one of their biggest Los Angeles shows to date at the Hollywood Palladium on February 26th (see below for a full itinerary of dates; tickets are on sale now HERE). 

The Million Masks of God was released on April 30th to career-high praise fromStereogum, NPR Music, Uproxx, SPIN, and many more, and performances of “Bed Head” for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’s #PlayAtHome series and CBS This Morning: Saturday Sessions (stream/purchase the album HERE). In addition to the LP, the band also recently released the heavy, slow-burning “Never Ending”—their contribution to theDark Nights: Death Metal Soundtrack, executive produced by Tyler Bates (“Guardians of the Galaxy,” “Watchmen,” “John Wick”)—and Christmas Songs Vol. 1, a holiday album featuring covers of six seasonal classics (the vinyl hits stores today, Nov. 19th). Their sixth album finds the band of Hull, McDowell, Tim Very, and Andy Prince relentlessly pushing themselves to create a work that breaks beyond the scope and limits of every previous release in an effort to create their most towering achievement to date, all while sorting through the aftermath of a devastating loss.
