This could be the record that finally bridges the classic dynamic rock sound with their nu-metal roots and that is, frankly, a very exciting prospect.
"The new Manchester Orchesta isn't nearly as good as Hybrid Theory was, fans just need to get over that shit"-Chester Bennington being interviewed by Fred Durst
im real excited. andy's been the center of my songwriter universe since 07-08. even if i'm not super down w/ cope
I wonder if this will be the record that pushes Manchester to being my favorite band over thrice and brand new. Give me strings and orchestration Give me intimate andy vocals Give me a vibrant and dynamic sound Give me a great story These are my expectations and I think they will be met.
I posted this in the MO thread months ago, but my friend's brother works for Concord Music Group and had the album back in March...For what it's worth, he's not even a big MO fan by any means and told me it was one of the top 10 albums he had heard in the past year.
Thier page on Concord's website has a good write-up on Hope (possibly old news who have followed the band longer than I have): Manchester Orchestra - Concord Music Group
Yeah, I've been checking that quite frequently since March waiting for it to update. Wouldn't be surprised if that page updates before band makes official announcement (so, sometime early next week?)
Love the short roll out here. Waiting longer than 2-3 months for an album is pretty infuriating to me at this point haha
I'm fairly certain the song heard for a couple seconds at 0:23 in the LP5 teaser video is The Gold. I also wonder if the song heard in the background of their Instagram post a few months ago where Tim was messing with the fire stick and they were advertising hoodies was a song off this album.
I have no idea lol, but that just came up when I google searched the album....I think their web designer is working on a sick new website and made it live by accident....but there is a few cool band photos and the album art.
