I love both bands. Have seen them both live a ton. MO is probably my favorite band and The Front Bottoms have easily been in my top 5 for the past six and a half years or so. I really, really wish there was an Ohio date.

Huge fan of Front Bottoms. Just only got into Manchester Orchestra from the last album.

HUGE FAN OF THIS TOUR. Holy shit!

  3. Fine, I shouldn't have said "whole tour" because I can't speak for the TX/midwest cities, but I hardly think it's obnoxious to assume MO is bigger than TFB in the southeast and vice versa in the northeast..

wasn't singling you out, it was just a weirdly negative tone in the thread and I was reacting to that. sorry

  5. no worries. i got a little defensive myself, i could totally see how my posts could have been interpreted as slighting TFB. I love them, haha.

I’m just kind of surprised they’re playing such a large venue. At least the DC one.

    Motel. Money. Murder. Madness.

I would assume MO is closing all dates, (aside from a select few) regardless of the ‘co-headline’ status.

I don’t care for TFB, but I’m glad they’re getting a potentially different audience.

They’ve tried to breach the ‘younger’ crowd on every tour the last few years (Balance and Composure, Tigers Jaw, TFB, etc.), let’s hope they dig what they hear. Get these dudes paid.

They’ve toured with MO/Bad Books several times already.

    Have people forgotten that?

MO is my favorite band but I honestly think TFB are bigger at this point.

They have, but not after they’ve ‘blown up’.

TFB are not bigger than MO, in my experience, at least not yet.

I will say that TFB have a better promotional team behind them right now.

Yeah, I’d be happy to see them work with Marks again. I think getting an outside producer was one of the things that made this album so good.
