I would have loved to hear the album as imagined by what they were comfortable with and did best. Before they started removing guitars and tweaking sounds. Would be interesting.

The Wolf would be a bit more Pride like .

Lead, SD a bit more April Fool esque

Yea.. like the live version of the moth which just rips insanely hard

 

It kills me that I know people who used to listen to Manchester, and have not bothered to check out this album.

 

just hit play on the demos.. gonna wait on the doc until I can watch with linds tomorrow night

 

The demos are awesome. I love any solo Andy stuff, and I can already tell I’m going to listen to these versions a LOT.

 

super raw, stripped down. cool to hear where the ideas came from.

 

I'm glad the album sounds the way it does, it's way better than their other stuff.

 

acoustic Gold could easily slide in on Nobody Sings Anymore and that's making me teary

 

I don't see myself going back to it a ton... I just like the album versions way more ha

Really enjoyed the doc with my coffee this morning.

They’ve done a great job getting people hyped on this record again a year later.

I’ll throw the demos on a chill playlist or something, but for the most part I think I see myself favoring listening to the album versions.

 

I've never been a big demo guy. I get that people enjoy seeing how the project started, but other than giving them a listen or two, I've never returned to demos from any band. It's just so hard to get into it once you already know and fell in love with the final product.
