omg im totally obsessed by drums in the verses of The Grocery lately. im not even a drummer but something about the minimalism of the hi-hat and the kick drum (?) paving way for the snare (?) at the end of every lyrical line is so mesmerizing. and then when the verse picks up a bit, the snare plays more often.

yea, I don't think their drummer gets enough credit. People say he plays the old songs poorly, I don't really hear it. I just hear him bringing his own personality to those songs. I like his style, reminds me of the MWY drummer

I don't hear the correlation between the two drummers, but that's cool that you do. Tim Very is good, but, fuck, Rickie Mazzota is supreme

The show last night in Brussels was the best show I’ve been to this year. Such energy on stage, and what a voice does Andy have, blew my mind. This band really is something special.
