I'll see you again in 25 years Prestigious

Just had my first listen of this record(or any record) since Brand New came out. This record is still absolutely fucking beautiful. This stretch of 6-7 days without listening is the longest stretch I've had since it came out without listening to it.

    I'm still listening.

Currently on holiday and I stuck The Maze on our driving playlist... I'm loving how much my wife loves it every time it comes on!

First listen since science fiction came out, this album is at least equally perfect

I need to tear myself away from Science Fiction and listen back through this at some point before their Orlando show.

I just haven't been able to do it yet. i don't know if I can, even though I truly love this record.

Honestly it holds up really really well. I was worried it wouldn't haha. I think this album vocally is a bit more varied than the brand new record bc of how andy stretches his voice at times, really dynamic. Im also not convinced that this won't end up as my number one when it's all said and done. Of course I have a feeling I'll be saying that about whatever album I'm listening to at the time haha.

This record flows really well right after Science Fiction. But I'm taking a break from both to listen to the new The War On Drugs album, and then maybe some The Front Bottoms.

I'm stoked to have new BN and MO within a month of each other because it means I won't play the shit out of one or the other. They'll both stay fresh longer.

Just went on a walk and listened to this for the first time in too long, and it is still easily one of the best releases to come out in 2017.

I know some people enjoy it, but I wish The Mistake and The Parts were replaced with 2 other songs. I like The Parts but wished it went on a solo collection, and just not a HUGE fan of mistake. I like it well enough, but don't love it.

I can only imagine if this album had two more like....Maze/Gold/Silence/Lead/Grocery/You name it....level songs there.

I love METN but could never get into COPE or Simple Math.

I've checked out a handful of songs and they are growing on me. I assume people consider this one of their best albums? I see lots of praise.

I can't wait to see how they pulls some of these songs off live.
If they can do it well (which I'm sure they can) it will be my fav my a good margin.

It will be amazing, the gold and the alien were great.

There has been a lot of praise. I didn't like COPE either (although I differ to you in that I prefer Simple Math to METN) but have really enjoyed this. For me personally it could be my favourite Manchester Orchestra release. Time will tell.

I wasn't even sure I'd check it out after COPE but I'm so glad I did.

the only part of The Mistake I'm not keen on is the "Wooooo" after the "I don't want to walk away from you" part. Wish it went heavy after "but you let me"

That's one of my favorite parts, someone in here way back explained it really well but it's sort of like the character losing their mind.

Haven't had chance to revisit it but I'm intrigued to give it a go. I've seen a few people say that. Honestly, I think I've only listened to COPE 10-15 times since it came out which is shocking really.

I'd say The Mistake is in the top half of the songs here. Not that any are bad. It might be my fourth favourite after The Maze, The Gold and The Grocery. Yep. Next would be The Mistake or The Silence for sure.

I thought the same thing. Then I listened to Simple Math again recently - it's a great album. Way better than I remember it being

All great moments. The choral bellow of "Somebody said it's unspeakable love" has stuck with me most.
