Yeah, it's fantastic. Falls somewhere in between MO and the better parts of Say Anything.

You inspired me to throw on Bathin' in the Fuss and slay my living room dancefloor.

Hey while we're on the subject if you've never listened to Weatherbox, do yourself a favor and listen to Flies in All Directions or the Cosmic Drama asap. The Devil and Whom is a top tier track for sure

I feel like it's kind of weird to cover the parts given that it's a very specific story about Andy and Amy's story

it's kind of asking to be covered by anyone with an acoustic guitar

A lot of songs are very specific stories about an artist's life. I don't think that makes it "weird" if someone covers them. Cam is also a huge fan of the band and friends with Andy.

To each their own. I feel like I'd have to change names or vehicles or years if I was playing that for a SO.

I like that he used these sort of thick harmonic textures given that the original is like 2 notes at a time ha

Shows that harmony can be realized even if it isn't neccesarily present. The melody and the chords hint at what the harmonic structure can be. Cam has a jazz degree and I'm sure it's something he thought about covering the song

I had started to make a cover of The Parts the week like 2 weeks ago. Got busy and couldn’t finish it, it was kind of like Cam’s but I through some more preeent harmonies in there.

Sorry if this was answered already but did someone get the "deluxe" LP from amazon? I wanted to know the difference from the standard edition.

changing peoples lyrics is kinda whack tbh

mostly when people change love songs to their preferred pronoun... just sing the song!

I think it's just the clear with the mix of black swirl(?) like the one direct from the band.

I have it. Just haven't opened it yet.

That's interesting to me because it's the only one I've never really gotten into. Instrumentally it sounds a lot like Andy's feature on Deny It All by The Dear Hunter and I've never gotten past that lol
