You really could start with any of them. Personally, I'd advise checking this one out first though.

 

I've been hugely into Simple Math lately (as well as the new record obviously). It's weird cos I vaguely seem to remember thinking SM was a really boring album when I first listened to it years ago but for some reason it's finally clicked for me.

Just threw on the vinyl today. Weirdly think the parts is much better through that than in headphones.

 

I find acoustic stuff sounds incredible on vinyl pretty consistently

 

Yeah but I don't like that song so I was surprised.

 

I also didn't realise side D had the image of the girl floating etched into it

Whoever said a while back that their favorite stretch on the album is The Maze-The Silence was definitely on to something.

Finally got home and opened my photobook. Holy shit what a package. I love this record.

 

Lead is gone, I don't want to live on this planet anymore.

 

I just love the sound they captured with the track, it's dark but it's also got a lot of really cool rhythmic patterns buried in it. The vocal harmonies on the pre chorus are really cool, and I love the way Andy's voice almost breaks in the back half of the chorus. I would love to see them explore that sound further on the next album
