Gimme light, gimme love, gimme fire

The Mistake was the only track I was wishy washy on, but it clicked for me this morning.

Then I listened to Billy Joel's Movin Out and yep.... super similar.

    I feel similarly.

An album hasn't hit me like this since '09. That was Beggars.

We reach for the longest shadow

I've been having a love affair with Pinegrove for over a year now, but that was the last thing i really connected with before this.

They just posted their second leg of the US tour. Scooped some tickets. They were a big surprise when I saw them play with Kevin and Julien

I still haven't seen them live. Hoping to catch either the Atlanta or Nashville date. I'm stuck in Alabama (that they seem to ignore), so I'll have to see which date works better for me.

That song is off Joel's album 'The Stranger' which fits in with the song titles on this album. Connection maybe?

Someone mentioned somewhere that The Daniels were involved in three videos. If this is the second, then we have one more. Maybe The Grocery?

That is what little birdies have told me. Not entirely sure if the Daniels were involved with The Gold "video" or not. But it seems like a pretty good chance that The Grocery would get a video.

If we get a video for the grocery that is actually based on the story of the song i will LOSE IT.

My guess is it won't be exactly like the narrative. ala The Alien.

I've listened to it so much at this point that my ears have officially fallen deaf on the whole Billy Joel thing.

But how awesome would "The Wolf" be?

    Extended intro perhaps?

I feel like The Wolf will be tough for them to perform live with how wordy the verses are.

I'd be very surprised to see anything outside of the The Gold, Alien and Parts on the tour. If they do I think it will only be one more.

Thats a damn good way to put it. There is another album that I've been waiting for that releases on Friday but NPR has been streaming it since last week, I haven't even barely listened to it more than once or twice now because if I want to listen to something I'm putting on ABMTTS.

They have to do The Silence. HAVE TO

And especially with an extended outdo like teebs said

we've seen the shadow of the axe before Supporter

Received my vinyl photo book from Loma Vista today and it is beat to hell. They shipped it in a regular LP mailer so it barely fits, which means there wasn't any room for padding. Anyways, I'm hope it will be taken care of soon, because I've been anxious to hear how this sounds on vinyl.

    This is worrying to me.

Mine shipped on Thursday, supposedly from Nashville, but I've not received any updated tracking on it.

I'm worried about these gold bundles...I'm reading so many reports from everyone that there copy arrived beat to hell and messed up. I wonder how many extras they made and how much it is costing them to ship new ones out thanks to USPS negligence.

Thankfully mine arrived pristine. I even sent someone to pick it up so it wouldn't sit outside for too long lol
