Maybe this album will inspire me to get off my fat ass and exercise. Probably not, but it's a nice thought.

Ehh, kind of. Definitely has the same progression as the first half of the Billy song's intro.

Finally found some spare time to give this album my full attention. Also read all the lyrics while listening. Incredible from front to back. This could be their best album yet. I loved the transition from the sunshine into the grocery. Thought it was great. The silence. Wow! Also, can someone please confirm or correct? That is a pair of scissors on the front cover falling from the tree (underneath the boy)?

I thought they were broken limbs but scissors makes a ton more sense.

YES strongly agreed!! I couldn't figure out what that track reminded me of but that's a perfect comparison point.

I haven't been able to find the time to sit down and give this a serious listen straight through, but I have listened to the entire album now, and even in bits and pieces this album is so f---ing good that I've been able to get past the track names all having 'The _______' except one track that sits at track 4. A lesser album would simply wreak too much havoc with my OCD to be enjoyed.

All kidding aside though, even after reading all of the hype, I think it is even better than I expected.

Yeah. I just remember hearing scissors being sung on "the alien" haha. So made sense.

Speaking of the cover, how long do you think it'll be before we see someone get it as a tattoo/ how long should I wait before getting this as a tattoo?

Kind of leaning that way. Saving 3/4 of my arm for a big Brand New peice, but I think it would work as a calf tattoo.

So I’m returning from an ultimate frisbee tournament and randomly my buddy puts on alt nation and it just so happens to be an hour dedicated to MO and their new album with a bunch of instudios. I made him stay on it. Andy started playing a Biffy Clyro cover and said it’s the song him and Juilien Baker covered together and it’ll be releasing later this year!
