my favorite comment: “Teferi Time Raveler is absolutely invincible. Even Wizards of the Coast can't interact with him!”
although i do think wotc did a lot of good with Dominaria onwards when they increased the power level. it did fluctuate a lot, but im glad they are taking risks (but this is simplifying it)
I haven't really been paying attention but I thought my coworkers were joking when they told me Teferi is the face of Core 2021, which means he probably gets the uncommon/rare/mythic treatment that Chandra did last year. They were not joking.
no this is a good take the problem is people were able to break the cards despite the deckbuilding downsides yorion was the big one because you’re literally playing with a deck size of 80 - and you still had a consistent deck. that just threw a lot of “facts” out the window
The changes can't come soon enough. Those fires and and agent decks feel like the only thing I see. I don't even mind the companion stuff.
Ugin, Baneslayer, and Massacre Wurm all reprinted. And a really cool white weenie Planeswalker that I'm too lazy to link on mobile Still won't get me to play again lol
yeah. you can loot then remove a creature for 2 turns of you time it right. or loot twice and teferi never dies
is it though? if you drop it and plus it on you and your opponent’s turn it goes up to 5, which is standard rate. and you have stuff like brazen borrower in blue, and other tempo cards it’s not that difficult to protect it. im curious what counters M21 has vs this style of play.
will time raveller and this be in the same standard? teferi tribal is looking to be incredibly annoying
That's why they made his ultimate so expensive, I'm assuming. Also some solid reprints in Runed Halo, Containment Priest, etc
