Took the plunge and bought 4 Elder Deep-Fiends. Guess I'll play Emerge for Game Day.

played another few matches with it since then: so good. i've won through both an emrakul and an ulamog both in very different ways

going with pretty much the stock list from the protour, i'm not a creative enough deckbuilder to go that far.

idk if any of y'all play MTGO, but the current flashback draft is Zendikar, and there's more than the usual amount of cards that will pay for your draft, or make it real cheap. Plus prize support! I've only played 2 drafts so far, made the finals of both, currently waiting to start the finals of the second one.

 

They're reprinting some pretty good cards in Conspiracy 2. Berserk, Burning Wish, Burgeoning, Serum Visions, Phyrexian Arena...

Think I might (slowly) make the plunge into Legacy w/ Sneak & Show now. At least with some proxy Volcs/Tarns

I like that this set feels a lot like the original Mirrodin set.

 

Kaladesh is wild so far. I've been teetering on the outskirts of MTG for the past few months after being totally deep in it for almost two years and this is bringing me back in a very real way.

 

Nissa seems good too. That's three good walkers. Set is lining up to be worth the money spent on it. Enemy fast lands are good for standard and modern. Gearhulks seem cool and some are constructed playable.

 

Yeah Chandra is actually incredible. I can't wait to play a budget red deck without her because I'm poor. And Nissa is great too. You can literally ultimate her the turn you play her with Oath of Gideon on the battlefield.
