eh depends on how you build the deck, some decks can function with one, some go better with the four. the red/white sunbird sun deck is pretty dope too. the caracals just do work in aggro matchups, where it's very easy to run through the deck if you don't draw fumigates
sunbird's invocation, the card where you look at the top x cards where x is the converted mana cost of the card you cast, and you can play a card of mana cost x or less so basically you can double up the second sun if you hit a second in your top 7
the only negative about these decks is there very few ixalan block cards are included and these come out right before dominaria, so the meta could change quickly/rotation is only a few months away, but if you want to play competitively for a few months these aren't a bad investment 25 masters spoiler start today
has anyone tried eternal? it's really fun, and actually really easy/not that intensive to get a tier deck
Yeah the value of the cards in those decks are going to plummet. Chandra already went from 29 to 21 and it's only been a week.
I keep seeing people griping about the value of those cards dropping and "Wizards not caring about their secondary market." Yeah because, uh, it's a card game. For people to play. Not the stock market (though things may rise and fall.) I hate the fanbase of this game sometimes.
it's funny because people are like "wow how is this card a mythic?!?! wizards cares too much about the secondary market" and others are the total opposite lol
going drafting tonight, it's been a long time, don't think i've done an in person draft since before ixalan because it was so bad haha. RIX is so much more fun
i read the mechanics and saw some of the cards but i think i'm not going to read through the whole thing yet
Wizards posted the stuff with correct translations today if anyone is interested. Some things of note: 1. They said they'd never print a 1 mana dork again, but they printed Llanowar Elves. 2. Some fun reprints, but honestly not as many as I would have thought. Icy Manipulator is cool and so is Gaea's Blessing. 3. Legends having a different board could be awesome or terrible. We'll see I guess. 4. Planeswalker damage redirection rules change is good, but putting an errata on 700 cards is crazy as shit
I’ve read that entire docu haha. Saga is interesting. One of the cooler sets to me in a long time for sure. I’ll be attending the prerelease.
Yeah this will bring me back. Only about half of the set is revealed and I'm already sold. I'm stoked to see the art.
