I was playing mono white on Xmage and it slayed

Seems like the big decks now are humans, red eldrazi, bant company, and bw midrange

 

Can't decide if I should pre order the new Thalia or get the rest of stuff I need for WR Humans, or start getting more stuff for Bant Humans.

 

New thalia is gonna be a player. probably in multiple formats. I'd pick her up.

 

That Thalia is so nice. Wish I had the money to keep playing.

 

Assembled Alphas with Lure is a fun win condition. Sucks that AA is so expensive to get out.

 

So the theme of "just play white" continues...

New Tamiyo is sick. Not sure how playable it will be.

 

Just started getting into MTG thanks to two of my coworkers. I'm still sort of getting used to everything but I'm having a ton of fun with it already. Went to a pre-release last weekend.

was digging the naya humans deck i was testing, along with my delirium one

 

played sultai control at SCG baltimore and went 5-3-1. Not bad since I haven't played a competitive event since my daughter was born in March. Deck is super fun.

 

Pondering what to play for Game Day that's not Bant Company. Interested to see what the PT this weekend holds, but I doubt anything super cool will emerge, pun intended.

 

i tried testing that really cool esper starfield deck on xmage and it's really really fun
the starfield/that new enchantment counterspell soft lock is crazy

 

the good news is you can see before FNM.

 

Really hoping PT EMN gets my head back in the game. I keep building a standard deck at rotation (went crazy for BG Rites after SOI PT) and then just getting bored and going back to modern/EDH. I really like the flavor of this block, but I can't seem to find a deck I love in standard.

 

Same. I love Assault Formation so part of me wants to make a goofy deck with it for the 2 months it's legal. I also like the look of UR Spells and some kind of madness deck.

 

Assault Formation is fun. Got blown out by a deck like that at the last game day I played - totally underestimated it on my part and got crushed. I think UR is great right now and I've been dying to play BR Madness vamps.

i was testing a blue red prowess burn deck, that was fun.

crazy that zombies got so much run in the PT day 1

 

Yeah, UB Zombies has made a nice showing so far. Glad to see some innovation in the meta.

 

Company and tokens did horribly, really nice to see

 

I'm all about those Emerge decks.

Also holy hell at Liliana and Emrakul's prices. Spiked hard.

 

Yeah it was a fun pro tour to watch. Nice variety of decks
