My pool sucks

 

Just got around to watching the pro tour this week. That was one hell of a game 4 in the finals.

And that misplay in the semis was hard to watch, but it happens.

 

so many red aggro decks
curious to see what the meta is like at events this weekend, luckily i think the deck can be beat if planned for

 

apparently red isn't fairing well. Top tables are RU control, BG, and zombies.

 

makes sense, probably far more life gain/sweepers at the tourney this week
nice to see a good standard for the first time in a while
there's a few decks i've messed with that have done well in testing on xmage but i haven't seen anyone playing (BG splash red frog delirium, mono black midrange)

 

Also apparently someone is 8-0 with "mono white eldrazi"

 

i'm watching that one now
that deck has done pretty well lately. red eldrazi as well. the new deserts basically allow for the standard eldrazi decks from before painlands rotated

Is that legit? That's awesome. Also what card creates a cat dragon token?

 

I need that, plus whatever creates cat dragon tokens.

Oh. that's cool! I haven't played much Magic since a couple friends I played with moved away. So I've more or less lost track of what's come out in the last like year.

Those cards are both ridiculously awesome.

 

might be most interested in the grixis wizards or mardu vampires deck out of the four, though. cool that the ones i'm interested in the least are coming out first

 

I haven't played since like January and I never play Commander but I love tribal so I'm into these!

 

well at least ixalan is tribal based

 

this is immediately one of my favorite cards ever though

 

That is the perfect mix of adorable and playable, which is a sentence I didn't think I'd ever say in MtG
