Maggie Rogers - Now That the Light Is Fading (February 17, 2017) Album

I totally missed her blow up with the Pharrell thing and am only now finding out about her. Fantastic stuff here, wonder why there's not so much talk.

 

This girl is destined for some really great things, I've been jamming this EP for most of the year. Love that she's an NYUer and how much she crosses styles, "On + Off" again would be a #1 hit in a perfect world. Absolute banger.

 

Also, god damn that Tiny Desk version of "Alaska."

I'm seeing her on Monday with Haim and Lizzo ahhhh!!!

 

She played a really great/fun set on Monday! She debuted lik, 3-4 new songs and they sounded great. ALSO she covered Macy Gray's "I Try" which was super fun. Anyway, she said her debut album is gonna be out this year!
