Still Run was one of the best albums last year

 

The first track reminds me a lot of the last Haim album with the harmonies and repetitive chorus.

 

Retrograde is definitely my favorite on this through a couple listens.

 

It was #6 on my list! Such a great follow up, it’s a bummer it didn’t seem to track more around the site

 

Does Alaska being on this mean I can put it on my songs of the year list again?

Nice little interview/write up on the BBC website. I had no idea about the viral video business nor did I know that she was well known enough to play Glastonbury and perform on the BBC - man, where have I been? I live a sheltered life.

 

Had a proper listen on my way to work this morning and it really is a lovely album. On Friday's first listen it felt like it was all the same vibe, but when you have time to properly digest it there are so many intricacies and the atmosphere is great and her voice is gorgeous. I like it a lot.

 

It's a fine pop album

Not sure how it warrants all of the pre-release buzz compared to something like 'Castles' by Lissie but...<shrugs shoulders>

 

Say It is such a bop

 

She got added to the Shaky Knees lineup last minute and it is the best surprise

 

Her energy is fucking infectious. What a great performance.

For some reason I had 'alt-country singer-songwriter' in my head when I saw her name a while back - this is very much not that, it's even better.

 

I saw she got added to the Tame Impala day and now I'm seriously considering planning an Atlanta trip that weekend.

 

This album has been on repeat for me all week. I have a feeling Retrograde and Say It will stay at the top of my Best Of list at the end of the year.

 

Fun fact: this album rules. "Light On" and "Retrograde" just jumped the fuck out of my car speakers.

 

I think “The Knife” might be my favorite on here right now

Huh, me too. I will now be making an effort to check this out.

 

Definitely think Retrograde would be my SOTY so far.

 

Me too lol. Just heard a song by her in Starbucks and really dug it... gonna check out this album later.

 

My girlfriend has been listening to this album nonstop and it grew on me, we are definitely going to the Orlando show, looks like she puts on a great live performance.
