I just listened to a few songs from them, it's wild, pretty cool, gonna listen to more

 

I’m listening to Armageddon for the first time and it’s pretty incredible

 

Have liked about 3 Grimes songs ever + think she’s gonna pretty annoying, so I’ll likely sit that one out. That said, her influence in them is undeniable so i get it and am happy for them!

 

She has entire albums that are good, but hasn't done anything in a while I've cared for

Cool moment for them because I know they’re big fans, but wasn’t super into this

 

that was awesome. I like how there's 2 extra keyboards for Mica to play for a whole 5 seconds and for Matt to stand behind while he plays bass

 

Still can't get over how the looped synth that makes up the bulk of the song is lifted straight, like pretty much unedited, from a plugin and they made a such a good song around it. As an amateur who fiddles with DAWs, that's inspiring

Finally getting around to this. Might be one of the best sounding albums I've ever heard.

Listening to this and getting confused, floored, and sucked in at the same time reminds of the first time I heard Nurture by Porter Robinson

yes. I just listened to this LP for the first time about two hours ago and haven’t stopped playing it since.

 

After I listened to this album for the first time, I went back and listened to every single album, so, mini mix, single and remix. I'm so in.

 

mercurial world is so good

 

Mercurial World is honestly better lmo, and the mini mixes are wonderful. Everything they’ve done is fantastic. One of my favorite live acts as well.

 

The mini mixes are okay, but Mercurial World and this album are excellent.

 

i think imaginal disk blows everything else they’ve done out of the water, but we’re talking an a+ surrounded by as.

 

I’ll start my discog journey soon. But only after the obsession with Disk dies down a bit.
