I'd say there are new sounds and audible differences that are brought forward, and sometimes it sounds as if they could have recorded some parts again. I'll always play the new versions now. Bloom is a good "test song" to compare. Also Night/Day, imo.
I might have to pick up that second pressing of (m)(a)(e). I missed out on the first, and I think this one looks even cooler.
I somehow missed the first pressing, so I ordered the second. Does anyone know if the first pressing has shipped? I'm curious to see it.
If i bought the first pressing, I'd be a little upset that the second pressing is much more limited. They've done this a couple times with their vinyl releases.
Why aren't the new (m)(a)(e) EPs available digitally? Annoying. Anyway, new song was a really great idea but the execution irks me a little bit. Sometimes the vocals are a little too high in the mix for me.
I will always love The Everglow and Singularity, but I wasn't too particularly into the EPs and I don't really know how I feel about this yet.
I was actually referring to "Our Love Is A Painted Picture". Probably should have clarified that. I like parts of it, but I am not sold on the song as a whole yet.
Are the boys teasing a 4th and 5th album (see attached)? Since they've been talking about new music for a few years, I think it's possible they may have a 4th album near ready and are about to start a 5th....I hope, anyway.
I think they're starting a new album and are unsure whether it'll be number 4 or 5 because they're not sure whether (m)(a)(e) counts.
It's an odd way of putting it - very ambiguous! The two interpretations above are both valid ways to look at it. Either way, new music is welcome!
SLADE!!! Well, then I think you'll be happy very soon. :) They have been posting pictures from the recording studio since last week.
I'm listening to the remastering of (m)(a)(e) on Spotify for the first time and I can't believe they cut of the jam session at the end of Over & Over. That elevated the song and I loved it. Sad to see it got removed
