Nice to read the write up of how the project came about. Can't believe it was back in 2009!

Hey m'dudes, old user from AP.net....first post on the new forum.
Came here to praise Mae, love all their stuff.
(m)(a)(e) is the end-all be-all for me. Came out in such a transformative time for me and the music really gets played on a monthly basis for me. The new remixed/remastered versions have been so great to listen to, they really did an awesome job.
If I had to rank them..
    The Everglow
    (m)orning
    (a)fternoon
    (e)vening
    Destination: Beautiful (and B-Sides)
    Singularity

Hoping for a new album or at least an EP next year

  17. I actually got to hang out at Dave's studio and watch him record one of the new songs. It's really cool stuff.

Ooohhhh. What does it sound like?

  19. Still experimental. I think they might be going back to the (m)orning sound a little. The song I heard, Dave was overlapping different drum tracks over each other, hahah. It was nuuuuuuts

  20. So, like, I think new Mae music could definitely be in the same vein as the Schematic album (which I loved)

Hmm, morning is one of my favourite things ever and I hated Schematic, ha.

Yeah, I never really listened to Schematic. My favourite from the trilogy was (e)vening I think.
