They were absolutely supposed to put out new music. Wtf happened?

 

Can someone point me to download links for morning and afternoon? can't find anywhere to buy them or download them (at least in the uk).

 

Yeah I heard the EP a while back. Lightness of Being is a great song

That was smart. I love Spartan and what they do, but they are pressing the crap out of these Mae albums.

They posted an instagram of Dave working on new Mae jams so there's hope. Sounding good.

Hey m'dudes, old user from AP.net....first post on the new forum.
Came here to praise Mae, love all their stuff.
(m)(a)(e) is the end-all be-all for me. Came out in such a transformative time for me and the music really gets played on a monthly basis for me. The new remixed/remastered versions have been so great to listen to, they really did an awesome job.

Hoping for a new album or at least an EP next year

 

I actually got to hang out at Dave's studio and watch him record one of the new songs. It's really cool stuff.

 

Ooohhhh. What does it sound like?

 

Still experimental. I think they might be going back to the (m)orning sound a little. The song I heard, Dave was overlapping different drum tracks over each other, hahah. It was nuuuuuuts

 

So, like, I think new Mae music could definitely be in the same vein as the Schematic album (which I loved)

 

Hmm, morning is one of my favourite things ever and I hated Schematic, ha.

Yeah, I never really listened to Schematic. My favourite from the trilogy was (e)vening I think.

 

Schematic has that one cool song then meh.
