The EPs coming out in their respective seasons was something I'll never be able to replicate again. Being in college, the feeling of freedom and, at times, a wide open schedule to listen to music whenever I wanted . Hearing the tracks blend into the other while driving around town and meeting my now wife and dating her during that time was surely something special.
I’m excited to see TRS for the first time I just saw it’s an unplugged Mae tour so just Dave and Zach acoustic I’m guessing? Still will be a good show
Is there a reason the (m)(a)(e) “compilation” mixed up and didn’t include all the ep tracks? I’d never listened to the eps and a little confused when looking at the wiki track listings of the eps and the full length on Spotify.
I remember somewhere (Reddit?) Zach said that it flowed better without them. I quite enjoyed all the bits and tracks personally
I got to see the NTFP set at WWWY (which included Stephen for half the set), so I’m fine with doing Matty Karaoke if it means all of In Motion plus a Spitalfield set, but god dammit, just shift the schedule by one measly day!
I’d be more interested in Mae these days if they’d release some new music. Feels like ages since they have.
I thought they were supposed to release a new album this year through EVR, but I’m assuming it’s taking longer than anticipated.
I think they finished recording a new album if I remember correctly, hopefully they say something at the show
Glad this will get released! Dave's voice isn't ever my favorite love but I'm always up for more music from them.
